What does Be Co actually do?

We help you effectively manage your company’s IT, cybersecurity, and tech automation. We specialize in working with financial service firms, including RIAs, CPAs, and accounting firms. Most of our clients are RIAs (registered investment advisors) who need cybersecurity services and IT compliance support.

Do you only work with financial service firms?

We primarily work with financial service firms, but if you are a business that is concerned about cybersecurity or compliance requirements, please reach out to see if we’re a good fit. We are open to working with the right partners.

Be Co is based in New York City, do you only work with New York based companies?

Based in New York City, Be Co is an IT services provider that works with clients nationwide, supporting employees wherever they are.

Many of your clients work remotely. We have an office, can you help us?

Yes! While we specialize in remote workforce IT support, we’re also very passionate about local networks and network security, including setting up routers, switches, and WiFi for all your office endpoints.

What makes Be Co stand out from other MSPs?

What’s your onboarding process?

We start with a short discovery call to understand your needs, then determine the right managed IT services package for your company. Once we know what your environment looks like, we deliver a proposal along with an MSA (master service agreement) for you to review and sign.

We know IT is about trust, and we work to build that from day one.

Will you work with our software vendors?

Absolutely. While we have a specific set of security and IT management software that we require to deliver our services, we know that every business is different and will work with you to ensure your business and productivity software integrates smoothly with our services.

Just Microsoft 365, or do you work with Google Workspace too?

Be Co has extensive experience tightly integrating both Google Workspace and Microsoft 365 IT support for our clients.

Windows or Mac?

Both. We provide Mac and Windows business IT support with secure, comprehensive solutions for your business needs.

What does your security monitoring time look like, and what is your MTTR (mean time to response)?

Be Co’s 24/7/365 cybersecurity monitoring has an 8 minute MTTR (mean time to response). That means that your devices are always monitored, and if an incident should occur, our managed Security Operations Center (SOC) would respond to a threat with an industry leading average of 8 minutes.

Can you help us pass compliance audits?

We’re not auditors, but we supply evidence (logs, WISP, test reports, configuration screenshots) and help remediate whatever gaps an audit might flag. We regularly work with GLBA, SEC, and FINRA cybersecurity compliance requirements, and we map them to the Secure Control Framework (SCF). SCF aligns with almost any industry standard, making our IT compliance support for CPAs, RIAs, and accounting firms flexible for your compliance needs.

Do you resell hardware?

Yes. We can handle the recommendation, procurement, setup and shipment of your laptops and desktops to your employees. We can also procure and install network and server equipment. Allowing Be Co to handle your hardware needs ensures optimal service delivery.

Be Co seems to care a lot about cybersecurity. What about privacy?

Because privacy is a part of the security equation, Be Co works to reduce your company’s cyber “attack surface” by lowering your employees’ online footprint. This is one of the layers of cybersecurity and privacy protection for financial firms that we provide.
